 ‘Transition’

Initially intended purely as reference points for future works, these small but vibrant 3-dimensional samplers have gradually evolved into a series of composed pieces in their own right.

Using stitch to give form and solidity, as well as for mark-making, colour exploration and decoration, the samplers offer a visual transition and dialogue between millinery and sculpture.
