FAQs - Lightshades
Can I see your lightshades in person?
Yes, certainly. I am always happy to see customers by appointment at the studio. Appointments are generally preferred between 11 and 4, but I can often be more flexible if required, including, sometimes, evenings and weekends.
If you are in London, I can also visit your home or project with a sample lightshade to help with your decision.
Where are your lightshades made?
I make all the lightshades in my studio at Cockpit Bloomsbury, London UK.
Can I return my lightshade?
Yes, if you have ordered a standard lightshade online and it is not bespoke/customised, you are welcome to send it back. Unfortunately, your return costs cannot be reimbursed.
Can I order a customised lightshade?
Yes potentially, please do get in touch to begin a discussion.
Do you have a catalogue?
No, all information is on the website.
What is your lead time?
Generally this is 4-6 weeks, however I can often reduce this if necessary, or work to longer timescales when required.
Do you have a wholesale price list?
I offer a trade discount to interior designers and architects - get in touch to find out more.
Do I need an electrician to fit one of your lights?
No, my products are lightshades only, not complete lights. They fit standard light-fittings, either UK bayonet style, or the slightly larger E27 style. If you are looking to replace a light-fitting or a cpmplete light (which would require an electrician), I am happy to share some suggestions and help in selection.
