Handmade Sculpted Table Lamp: 'Hive' in copper banana fibre with walnut base (one-off piece)
The ‘Hive’ lightshade has a softly tailored aesthetic. When illuminated, the differing layers give a pleasing, mark-making effect, reminiscent perhaps of a charcoal sketch.
The banana fibre has been cut and pressed into ribbons of varying width, which are then arranged and hand-stitched together to form an intricate and elegant nest around the handmade drum.
The ribbons stand proud from the drum at front and sides, giving an open, 3-dimensional look, but lie flat on the drum at the back. This makes it particularly suited to a table lamp placed directly in front of a wall, where space is limited.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we are of course happy to offer a refund or exchange. Please notify us by email within 5 days of receipt, and return the lightshade to us in the same packaging within 14 days. Unfortunately we cannot refund either original or return shipping costs.
