Handmade Sculpted Table Lamp: 'Bloom' in natural/silver banana fibre with oak base (one-off piece)

The ‘Bloom’ lightshade has been created from draped, undulating swirls of sinamay (banana fibre), hand-stitched onto a handmade sinamay drum. The drapery continues partially over the drum aperture, creating a diffuser integral to the design.

The abstract and asymmetrical nature of the drapery gives the lightshade a slightly different appearance from all angles, and means that each piece is unique. The banana fibre here is an extra-fine weave in dark natural, with fine silver lurex threads.

The solid oak base is handmade in the UK by James Design.

Please notify us by email within 5 days of receipt, and return the lightshade to us in the same packaging within 14 days. Unfortunately we cannot refund either original or return shipping costs.
